Finish Line Crossed: Sagan is done

Me and 'Vlara' after riding through the countryside.
It's been a year since I started the journey writing the novel 'Return of the Sagan', and I am happy to say the complete draft is finished.  Book cover designs are being worked on and I am giving the manuscript a thorough proofing, but it is all coming to an end.  Things I learned from this experience are:

1) Writing scifi/dystopian novels are a hell of a lot of fun.

2) These genres help writers stretch and gain new insight into paths to take in other work.

3) This is not my last scifi novel.

As an aside, I also will have a scifi/fantasy short story released in an anthology soon (just received word that my story was accepted for the final cut and will be in the anthology).  I will release more info shortly.

What's next?  The sequel to 'People of the Sword', which is long overdue.  On a positive side, a lot of the novel is written and the complete outline is set.  The sequel takes place 400 years after the 1st in the series.  I plan to release some excerpts later this month and will keep everyone updated.  Take care, and happy reading!
